JESUS is the message.

Jesus is the message.  So, let’s get started.

EPHESIANS 1:3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. 4 For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love 5 he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will 6 to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves. 7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace 8 that he lavished on us. With all wisdom and understanding, 9 he made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ, 10 to be put into effect when the times reach their fulfillment to bring unity to all things in heaven and on earth under Christ.

11 In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will, 12 in order that we, who were the first to put our hope in Christ, might be for the praise of his glory. 13 And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, 14 who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession to the praise of his glory.

The scriptures above highlight the concept of predestination. It reveals that before the world was created, we were already predestined to be in Christ. This is in agreement and structured through the grace we receive through Jesus.

This means that from the moment you entered creation Jesus is the message destined for you. As an infant Christ provides the space for our nurture and growth, throughout childhood He allows for our mistakes and our correction in our experiences, and finally as an adult God has carried us to the point of maturity, our recognition of His grace and mercy, Jesus.

Let us read.

ROMANS 5:8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

9 Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through him! 10 For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life! 11 Not only is this so, but we also boast in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.

JOHN1:16 Out of his fullness we have all received grace in place of grace already given. 17 For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

Jesus is the message, simply because he is. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved.

ACTS 4:11 Jesus is “the stone you builders rejected, which has become the cornerstone.

12 Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.”

Jesus is the message, because God made him the message. Before any of us came into existence, Jesus existed, and He existed to bring about the end of corruption, the revocation of sin, and the dissolution of death.

REVELATION 21:3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. 4 ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”

On this day the whole world will recognize Jesus’s sovereignty. The very same sovereignty we recognize today as believers.

COLOSSIANS 1:15 The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. 17 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.

So be strong in the understanding of God’s Word, believe with your whole heart, reconcile all mistakes with God through Jesus Christ, and remember Jesus is our message from here to eternity.

God Bless and Keep you always
